Vocal Artists of Iowa seeks to inspire audiences through choral singing and provide resources and support to develop vocal music educators across the state.

At Vocal Artists of Iowa, our goal is to inspire and uplift audiences through the transformative power of choral music in a project-based setting. Vocal Artists is a choral ensemble that allows literate and elite musicians opportunities to create high-quality performances with limited rehearsal time. Besides performing, Vocal Artists is dedicated to nurturing the future of choral music in the state by actively supporting and providing resources for local music educators. These forms of outreach include hosting guest composers to deepen the knowledge of choral music educators in a variety of genres as well as providing a variety of opportunities for ensemble leadership, fostering attitudes and capacities for collaboration both within and outside the choir.
